Q: Please tell us about yourself.
---I'm a mom, a wife, and a daughter. Those three roles are the most important to me and I'm privileged to fill them. Beyond that, I'm a daydreamer. I love getting caught up in a good story and hate when they end. And I'm a Midwest girl. This is where my heart is and where I hope to stay.
Q: Tell us about your book
----Anchored in the Bay is a story about what happens when the love of your life returns at the wrong moment. Emily has to learn to forgive both herself and Ed in order to heal and move on with her life. But that's easier said than done.
Q: What inspired you to write Anchored in the Bay?
---I love pondering different "what if" scenarios; often taken from my own life. I'm fascinated by how often luck plays a big role in the outcome. For instance, I also had a surprise pregnancy. But unlike Emily, I am married to the love of my life and we were prepared to take on parenthood together. Going through that experience, we grew stronger, but it's easy to see how it could be
Q: How much time per week do you spend writing/editing your work?
----Right now, I average between 20 and 30 hours a week, mostly at night and on the weekends. I love to work in the mornings, but my kids are early risers and I've never been able to sneak down to my office without being caught. I'm looking forward to my oldest starting full-time school and my youngest starting a pre-school program in the fall.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
-----I'm editing the second book in this series, coming August 1st, have outlined the next two books in the series, and am finishing up the first draft of a stand alone. It's going to be a busy and exciting summer!

Now Ed is fighting both for and against her to win her heart once and for all. But can they find their way back to each other, through years of hurt and with an unexpected baby on the way?
