Well, I’m kind of a stodgy, old, middle-aged woman, but not bad for my age. My boys and I like to fiddle. I snore so loud it wakes up my husband. I have a cute little bichon frise named Buddy who talks to everyone while my lips move. And I like beef jerky.
Q: Tell us about your book
Glad you asked. Here’s the trailer:
Q: What inspired you to write The Shadow of the Unicorn II: The Deception?
It’s a long story. I enjoyed writing as a child and wrote my first novella about unicorns when I was 12. Then somewhere in my teens, I began to rewrite it and develop it as a real novel. I got four chapters in and then forgot about it. After my father died, 8 years ago, I found it in an old box while I was cleaning the basement. Thinking it was garbage, I threw it in the blue box. Then two days later, my curiosity got the best of me and I brought it in, dried it off, and was completely taken away by it. “A psychic dinosaur?” I exclaimed. A few days later, I began to write and have never stopped. Oh, and why unicorns? I’ve always been a horse lover.
Q: How much time per week do you spend writing/editing your work?
I get up at the crack of dawn and write until my boys get up. After taking them to school, I write until they come home. Then it’s all about them.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
I’m writing the third of The Shadow of the Unicorn trilogy. This one’s about a unicorn who turns bad. It’s might powerful. Thank goodness for Corabelle. Also, I just finished a teen paranormal entitled A Town Bewitched and submitted it. Waiting to hear with fingers crossed.
